Predictions: Sebring murdered someone, a woman in particularly. Sebring is digging up graves for money. Rob and Haven know the person that Sebring brutally murdered.
Images:
While Rpb and Haven were looking for Sebring, they got caught in a terrible thunder storm.
This image perfectly explains what Sebring was doing, grave digging.
Clarify: Mr. Hillman dug up the grave because he did not know if he had a daughter. And of course, he ended up having one who was dead. In the middle of a story night, Mr. Hillman decided to go out and dig up his daughter so he could bury her properly.
Try: Who is Mr. Hillman? Why is Mr. Hillman relevant to the story? Why did Mrs. Hillman come to the the Peck's for help? How do Mr. and Mrs. Hillman know the Peck's?
Use: I know what it feels like to lose someone who is so close to you. And normally, death and grief can cause some crazy actions. Death is a very difficult thing to cope with and I've felt this way. I felt this way when my Grandpa died 4 years ago.
Review: In Chapter 8, Rob is awaken in the middle of the night by a crazy thunder storm. While closing the window, he hears some unfamiliar voices downstairs, so of course he has to check them out. Once he does, his father asks him to help him hook Soloman up to the wagon. As soon as the wagon is hooked up, Rob and Haven go into Learning and take a trip to the graveyard. At the graveyard, they find Mr. Hillman digging up his daughter's coffin. Mr. Hillman was a little out of it because he was beside himself due to the loss of the daughter that he didn't know about.
