Now that school is ending, I am starting to slack off and not do my homework as proficiently and effectively as I used to. My hardwork and dedication really needs to shine through right now, especially now that school is almost over. If I want my grades to stay the same, then I need to make sure that I am doing things 100% right and that they are completely correct.
This upcoming weekend, my travel volleyball team is playing in the NJC tournament. This tournament is very important to win or place well in, because it seeds us for nationals. If we do good, then we receive a good seed for nationals and vice versa. This tournament is a good place to show off all of our hard work and dedication to volleyball, so that we can bring home some hardware!
This week we have a lot of assignments and projects due in English. First of all, we have our Animal Farm website and test due Friday. Second of all, we have our Compare and Contrast Essay due Wednesday. Even though we are almost to the end of the year, all of this homework is very overwhelming and stressful; thankfully, however, I have been doing a lot of my homework on the weekends and staying dedicated to getting a good grade that I am not as behind as most of my classmates are. Staying dedicated and focused on your school assignments or even at your job, can never be a bad thing.
This week the temperature jumped up from the 50s to the 80s. When it is this hot, it's so hard to stay focused and dedicated to school and sports. This hot weather makes everyone hot and tired. I need to push through this hot weather and stay focused and dedicated to both my schoolwork and volleyball in order to finish out
This week it is finally starting to feel like spring. With all the rain we've had, the days have start to feel a little bit gloomy. Everyone is starting to lay back and relax with summer on the way, but not me. I'm determined to show my dedication to my volleyball coaches and my teachers that I want to be great. I am going to stay dedicated to my school work and to sports. Now is the time to get better than everyone else.
This week we were bombarded with projects, especially in Spanish. Next week, we have a presentation to do in front of the whole entire class. We have been learning all about what we are going to present for about two months now, so my hard work and dedication over the past few months will hopefully help me prepare and ace this presentation.
This Saturday I take my road test. I want to pass the test so badly, so that I will no longer have to rely on my parents or friends for rides everywhere. To prepare for the test, I have been driving with my parents and studying the booklet. I want to show the driving instructor my dedication to driving so that he will see that I am a good driver and that I am aware and ready to go at all times on the road.
Tomorrow, I leave for Florida. I am so excited to spend my spring break in the sun getting tan and catching up on some sleep. Although spring break is a good time to have fun and rest, I need to show my dedication to both school and volleyball. To show my dedication to volleyball, I am going to work out everyday for at least 45 minutes. To show my dedication to school, I am bringing some of my books down to Florida with me to study.
This week in English we were given an huge work load. We were asked to write a 5 page essay, read Stargirl, complete our website for Stargirl, and write a blog. I need to show my dedication to school this week, especially in English because we have so many points that are going into the grade book. These points will be very vital to our end of the year grade, and I will not settle for anything less than an A.
With Spring Break coming up and all of the snow days that we've had, the teachers are packing on the homework. They are giving us lots and lots of assignments, so I need to show my dedication to school and my good grades, so that I can get past all of the homework that they are giving us. To maintain my 3.8 GPA, I am going to work hard, study hard, and get all of my assignments done. Being and staying dedicated to my school work is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my whole entire life.
